Dear CVS Partners,
We have multiple updates, please read the information below carefully and contact your union rep if you have any questions.
First, we have been made aware that there was a problem with CVS sending over the hours you worked in April to the Health & Welfare office. We are working with CVS and their payroll company to get this issue resolved. At this time Health & Welfare will show you do not have benefits in June. As soon as Health & Welfare receives the report this issue will be resolved and if you worked the required hours for April your coverage will be back dated, and any charges you incurred due to this will be reimbursable from the Health & Welfare office. We apologize for this problem.
Second, regarding vacation accruals and personal holiday accruals: early this month CVS’s payroll company will have the issue with your balances corrected and they will should show in WorkBrain (time and attendance system) as well as myHR (employee portal).
The third is regarding a pay issue. CVS overpaid employees that worked on MLK day. This was a large amount totaling approximately $17,000 in overpayment. In addition, from January through March some employees were not paid the correct amount for daily overtime. In our discussions with CVS management they have agreed to correct the underpayment for the daily overtime, and they have agreed on a non-precedent setting basis to not recuperate the overpayment for MLK holiday pay. We appreciate CVS management working with us on these payroll issues.
