Workers at Mondi have begun the important process of organizing into a Union to secure better pay, better working conditions, and affordable healthcare. Many Mondi workers have heard a lot about what a Union will mean for their workplace. Check out the video below about what Unions do for workers and why managers and CEO’s try to stop them.
If you have any questions and you want to speak directly to the Union staff about your concerns, don’t forget to attend our meeting on November 28 from 4-9pm at the Drury Inn at 225 Weiss Roadside Park, Jackson MO.
This meeting will feature 3 guest speakers:
- Harry Walker, a UFCW 655 partner employed at a plastics factory
- Carolyn Bible, a Bon Appetit worker whose workplace recently organized to join the UFCW family and ratified their first contract
- A former Mondi Human Resources employee, who will tell you things your company doesn’t want you to know
