Once again, greedy out-of-state interests are marching in to the Show-Me state to ram a law down our throats that makes it harder for you to get what you’ve earned.
Yes, Americans For Prosperity, the brainchild of the Koch brothers, is buying up time on radio and television around the state to push their false brand of “freedom” that does nothing more than make it harder for hard-working people to earn a living.
The real cost of “Right-to-Work”
Here, they’ve decided to pick on our friends in the Republican Party who stood up against the Koch brothers and stood with the working families in their districts. Those Republicans, who made the hard but right choice, are now being singled-out by big money interests with no stake in Missouri’s future.
We can’t let that happen.
The UFCW family is committed to supporting our friends and allies. We will not allow for these absurd attacks to hurt their chances to return to Jefferson City and fight for you, our stakeholders. These out- of-state interests would use their endless supply of cash to intimidate our allies into submission. We simply cannot tolerate that. We will not allow our friends to be bullied by expensive ads or the threat of a primary. We will not allow those who stand with working people to be knocked down.
If your state representative voted to support hard-working families and reject Right-to-Work, call them and thank them for their courage in the face of cynical political ploys. If your state representative chose the side of out-of-state billionaires, call them, and tell them you won’t be forgetting that on election day.
