Under the proposal all 655 members would pay the same percentage of their hourly wages in dues. The new dues rate is 66% of one hours pay per week. In order to calculate your new weekly dues amount, multiply your current hourly rate by 0.66 and that figure will be your weekly dues payment. All changes are rounded to the nearest 0.50 cent mark.
While the proposal would make the dues structure more fair and equitable, some members may see a decrease. Some others may see an increase. If the increase is larger than $3 per week or more it will be spread out across two years.
The highest pay rate used to calculate dues is the center store manager/ customer service manager rate in the Schnuck/Dierbergs contract curry$25.25 per hour.
