Show solidarity with workers organizing for a better life when the 2017 Expose Walmart Tour makes a stop in St. Louis!
The 2017 Expose Walmart tour is a 22-state, 30-city cross-country tour that will expose the real stories of Walmart’s low wages, poor benefits, taxpayer-subsidies, and other negative community impacts. The tour kicked off in Phoenix on May 15th and will end at Walmart’s annual shareholder meeting in Fayetteville, AR on June 2nd.
The tour will feature workers, Walmart employees, community groups, elected officials, and leaders coming together to propose real solutions to the ‘Walmart-ization’ of our economy, costing taxpayers money and destroying jobs.
The 2017 Expose Walmart Tour is organized by Making Change at Walmart and The United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW), and is supported by the AFL-CIO. The St. Louis Workers’ Education Society is co-sponsoring this event with UFCW Local 655.
