UFCW Local 881 President Ron Powell who represents the Schnucks, Shop ‘n Save & Dierbergs stores in Illinois pledges to support Local 655 members. President Powell and his field director have informed their members in the St Louis Metropolitan area that the issues that are affecting Local 655 bargaining are their issue also. “What happens with Local 655 will affect our members and we stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Missouri” he added we cannot allow these radical and unnecessary cuts to the Health Care.
