Schnucks Markets recently announced some changes to store hours for the holiday season, as well as bonuses for eligible partners. Below is the memo they issued to all Schnucks partners earlier today. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your union rep or call your union hall.
Union Partners,
As we close out September and our fiscal year, we know that the holiday season is fast approaching and stress levels will be on the rise throughout our organization – especially in our stores. Ahead of what we anticipate will be another busy time for us serving customers, I am sharing news of a performance and retention bonus for eligible teammates, as well as new holiday hours, and updated store hours.
Performance and Retention Bonus
To show appreciation to store and facility teammates for their continued service to customers during the COVID-19 pandemic and through the upcoming holiday season, we are awarding eligible store and facility teammates a performance and retention bonus. To be eligible:
· Must be a weekly-paid teammate not eligible for a short-term incentive plan (STIP) payout.
· Eligible teammates will receive a one-time bonus which will be issued in a separate bonus check on Thursday, January 20.
· The bonus amount will be calculated based on either (1) the number of hours paid (regular, OT, personal days, and vacation) during the last quarter of the current fiscal year (roughly July, August, and September), or (2) on the number of hours paid between October 11, 2021 – January 2, 2022. The highest amount of hours worked during those two periods will be used to determine the bonus amount based on the below chart:
Minimum Hours | Maximum Hours | Bonus Amount |
120 | 224 | $200 |
225 | 359 | $300 |
360 | + | $600 |
*Teammates with <120 hours are not eligible
